Co-management conference report with recommendations DOWNLOAD Organizacija Svi različiti svi ravnopravni sa svojim partnerima iz regiona organizovala je međunarodnu konferenciju „Kako primeniti ko-menadžment u praksi“ od 20. do 26. Juna 2009. godine. Konferencija je okupila 32 učesnika, evropskih eksperata i praktičara u oblasti omladinske politike sa ciljem da se definišu preporuke za standarde i mehanizme potrebne za primenu ko-menadžment koncepta kroz diskusije i studije primera prakse. Održavanjem ove konferencije doprinosi se ostvarivanju ciljeva Nacionalne strategije za mlade Republike Srbije, intenziviranju saradnje sa Evropskom Komisijom i Savetom Evrope, te sprovođenju aktivnosti u okviru prioriteta definisanih Agendom 2020. Partneri na projektu udruženja građana Svi različiti svi ravnopravni su Mreža mladih Hrvatske, ASU BiH i FOrum MNE. *** INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE Co-management: How does it work? The All different - all equal Serbia in partnership with the Croatian Youth Network (Mreža mladih Hrvatske), the Forum MNE, Montenegro and the Association of Secondary school students in Bosnia and Herzegovina (ASuBiH) is announcing a call for participation in the international conference “Co-management: How does it work?” that will take place from June 20th to 26th at Palić, Serbia. Objectives of the conference are: • To improve participants’ knowledge and skills for applying co-management • To discuss and agree about main principles of the co-management concept • To identify and promote examples of good practices in implementing co-management concept • To learn about possible approaches of applying co-management and developing mechanisms for it • To articulate recommendations for future work and cooperation between participants in youth policy development field Methodology/program The program of the conference will be based around the applicable forms of the co-management concept aiming to identify strengths and elements to be improved. Therefore, we aim to present the co-management concept from different angles and link it with the youth policy development and youth participation. What is more, we wish to present the experiences from practice in the implementation of the concept and construct a platform for co-management implementation based on practical steps and activities that would support participants delivery efforts in the future. We aim to use several methodological approaches to create a vivid combination of the experts lectures and workshop inputs, panel debates involving practitioners of the concept from Council of Europe AC/CDEJ and the region, adding working groups, plenary discussions and educational games/simulations tending to support development rights-based approach, values and principles to be respected when applying co-management. Conference will gather around 40 participants. Conference is supported by Council of Europe European Youth Foundation and Ministry of Youth and Sports of Republic of Serbia.
